How to Make Refrigerator Sweet Pickles
Grab the cucumbers. Today we're making pickles! Refrigerator pickles are easy to make, and they're a great way to use up those cucumbers from your garden. With some simple boiling and mixing, you'll have instant pickles. The recipe I use, as well as my whole family, comes from my dear grandmother (now 95 years young). My grandma is an amazing cook. Growing up in the Depression era, she has always been thrifty with what she has, and this valuable skill carries through her cooking.

My grandma has been making refrigerator pickles long before I came along. When I was younger, she'd always drop off a container of freshly made pickles, and my siblings and I would gobble them up that same day. Now it's a summer tradition for my family to make Grandma's pickles. If you like your pickles a little sweet, then this recipe is sure to delight!
