The Ultimate Coffee Cake Recipe – Apple Cinnamon Streusel!

Looking for a cozy treat to enjoy solo or share with friends? I wanted something delicious for game night and found a few apples in my fridge—perfect for a coffee cake! And of course, I couldn’t resist adding a buttery streusel topping because, let’s be honest, everything is better with streusel. Give this sweet, apple-filled coffee cake a try and pair it with a warm cup of coffee for the ultimate treat. I also had recently gotten a USA made pan as well that makes the perfect loaf and I wanted to use it for this recipe.

    blank

    • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup light brown sugar tightly packed
    • 1 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 6 Tablespoons unsalted butter

    Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350F and grease a baking dish.

    2. In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.

    3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, vegetable oil, and sugar, mixing until well combined. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just incorporated. Gently fold in the chopped apples, along with chocolate chips or nuts if using.

    4. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly. In a small bowl, combine the flour, sugars, salt, and butter for the streusel topping. Mix until crumbly, then sprinkle evenly over the batter.

    6. Allow it to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea!
